University of Science and Technology – Hadramout Branch launches competitive scholarship exams for memorizers of the Holy Quran

The University of Science and Technology - Hadramout Branch launched the annual competitive examinations for scholarships for memorizers of the Book of God, in recognition of the importance of the role of Quran memorizers in reforming society and spreading its noble values.
The launch witnessed a great turnout from the memorizers, as the number of applicants this year reached more than 22 memorizers of the Holy Quran competing to obtain scholarships in the various disciplines offered by the branch.
In his speech on this occasion, the Vice-Rector of the University branch, Dr. Murad Bahadi, praised the measures that were taken to ensure that the exams proceeded smoothly and transparently, stressing the University’s keenness to provide all support and facilities to applicants.
The deputy director confirmed that these scholarships come within the framework of the university’s commitment to community service and its keenness to encourage outstanding students and provide them with outstanding educational opportunities.
Dr. Murad Bahadi expressed his pride in the great attention the university pays to those who memorize the Holy Quran, stressing that these scholarships are the least that can be offered to this distinguished segment of society.
