The President of the University of Science and Technology – Aden participates in the QS Summit: Middle East 2025 at the Gulf University in the sisterly State of Kuwait

The Acting President of the University of Science and Technology – Main Center Aden, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, participated in the QS Summit: Middle East 2025, which was held by the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) in Kuwait in cooperation with the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), during the period from 20 to 22 April 2025 in the sisterly State of Kuwait. The summit was attended by a select group of university presidents, academics, experts and specialists in higher education from around the world, with the aim of discussing the most prominent challenges facing higher education in the Middle East, in addition to the most important opportunities that can be utilized in developing higher education in this region of the world. The summit witnessed the presentation of a diverse range of working papers by QS experts and a number of academics from around the world, addressing ways to develop scientific curricula in line with global changes in the education sector, in addition to exploring mechanisms for employing technology and inventions to achieve an effective contribution to the development and progress of societies. It is worth noting that this summit provided an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences on mechanisms for improving higher education, and it also represented a suitable environment for strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions. The President of the University of Science and Technology, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, expressed his sincere thanks to the Gulf University and the brothers in the sisterly State of Kuwait for their hospitality and reception and for hosting this important summit. The university president also pointed out the importance of the University of Science and Technology – Aden’s participation in the summit, noting that this participation gave the university the opportunity to keep up with the latest developments and innovations in the field of higher education, in order to employ them to further raise the level of academic and institutional performance at the university. #University_of_Science_and_Technology
