The inaugural meeting for the start of the second semester of the Medicine and Surgery program was held.

On Monday, January 6, 2025, the inaugural meeting for the start of the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year for the Medicine and Surgery program at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, was held, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Fatima Qahtan, the Head of the Department, Dr. Fahmi Al-Aghbari, the Program Officer, Dr. Amira Al-Humaidi, the Head of the Curriculum Unit, Dr. Arwa Al-Saqqaf, the Academic Supervision and Coordination Authority, and a large number of faculty members in the program. The head of the department opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, in which he thanked those present and stressed the importance of cooperation to achieve the program's vision and educational goals. The meeting included discussions on plans for the second semester, enhancing communication between faculty members and the program's academic administration, guidelines and recommendations for achieving academic and educational goals, improving teaching methods, raising the efficiency of education, student assessment methods, raising the quality of clinical education, the most prominent challenges the program faced in the first semester, and current plans to overcome them. The program management has stressed the need to adhere to the established timelines in order to achieve an effective learning environment.
