The first international student meeting was held at the University of Science and Technology in Hadramout.

On Thursday morning, 8/5/2025, the first meeting of international students was held at the University of Science and Technology, Hadramout branch, which was represented in the announcement of the “Indonesian Students Forum” as a student framework that contributes to supporting cultural and educational activities and enhancing communication between Indonesian students within the university. In his speech during the meeting, the director of the university branch, Dr. Alawi Saqqaf Al-Aidaroos, praised the importance of international student initiatives, stressing the university’s full support for international students and its keenness to provide an integrated educational environment that allows them to excel academically and engage in purposeful student activities. Deputy Director Dr. Murad Bahadi also emphasized the program's role in supporting Indonesian students and providing them with academic and intellectual support, praising their remarkable engagement in scientific and cultural aspects within the university. For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Aidaroos, head of the Islamic Studies program, expressed his pride in the level reached by Indonesian students at the university, noting the importance of the forum in promoting the spirit of cooperation and teamwork among international students. The meeting included a number of introductory speeches and interactive activities that expressed the depth of the fraternal relations between the students, and emphasized the importance of organized student work in serving the educational and cultural issues of expatriates. The meeting was attended by Mr. Saeed Bahafi, the Financial and Administrative Director, and Dr. Hussein Al-Jahouri, along with a number of faculty and administrative staff members of the university.
