The Cybersecurity Department is holding a seminar: “Cybersecurity – Protection begins with knowledge”

The Cybersecurity Department at the Faculty of Engineering and Computers at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden held a seminar on cybersecurity, entitled: “Cybersecurity - Protection that begins with knowledge.” The seminar witnessed a wide attendance from members of the university from its various departments and scientific divisions, including administrative and teaching staff and students. The seminar addressed a number of topics, namely: digital forensics, malware, social engineering, network security and protection, and data theft and extortion. The final part of the seminar was dedicated to discussion and inquiries, and the seminar received a great deal of interaction from the attendees, who directed several questions to those in charge of it, which they answered and further enriched the topic. At the end of the seminar, the attendees expressed their great benefit from it, stressing the importance of holding such seminars to protect ourselves from cyber security risks. #University of Science and Technology
