Organizing a workshop to develop the Bachelor of Accounting program

On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the Faculty of Administrative and Human Sciences, in conjunction with the Deanship of Development and Quality Assurance at the University of Science and Technology – Main Center Aden, organized a workshop on “Developing the Bachelor of Accounting Program”. The workshop was opened with introductory remarks, beginning with a speech by the Assistant President of the University for Student Affairs, Community Centers and Branches, Dr. Munir Al-Abadi, followed by a speech by the Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muammar Al-Qutaibi, then a speech by the Dean of Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rumaima, and concluding with a speech by the Dean of the College of Administrative and Human Sciences, Dr. Bashir Muhammad Al-Hammadi. Following that, Dr. Abdullah Hamoud Ismail presented the topics of the workshop, after which discussions began with the participation of all attendees. The message of the Bachelor of Accounting program, the program’s objectives, learning outcomes, and graduate specifications were discussed, and the workshop concluded with a discussion of the program’s study plan. The workshop was led by the Head of the Accounting Department, Dr. Ashal Al-Haithami Ashal, and its rapporteur was Dr. Jalal Muhammad Saeed. The workshop was attended by: Dr. Abdullah Al-Amoudi, Head of the Quality Unit, a group of accounting experts and employers, a number of faculty members in the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administrative and Human Sciences, as well as a number of graduates in the field of accounting, and a group of fourth-level students in the Bachelor of Accounting program. This workshop reflects the University of Science and Technology – Aden’s commitment to developing its study programs and its interest in ensuring that its programs comply with the requirements of academic accreditation. #University_of_Science_and_Technology
