The President of the University of Science and Technology – Aden participated in the “Future Trends – Universities and Sustainable Development” forum in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Acting President of the University of Science and Technology – Main Center Aden, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, participated in the “Future Trends – Universities and Sustainable Development” forum, which was held by King Khalid University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Monday and Tuesday, February 10-11, 2025, in the presence of a large number of presidents of universities and higher education institutions in the Arab world. The first axis of the forum discussed the topic of universities and their role in developing human capital, while the second axis highlighted the role of universities in enhancing national environmental and tourism capabilities. The forum included dialogue sessions and numerous scientific papers that covered the two discussion axes. King Khalid University launched the “Future Trends – Universities and Sustainable Development” forum in conjunction with its ceremony honoring Arab universities included in the 2024 Arab University Rankings. The ceremony, held under the patronage of the Governor of the Asir Region, saw Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, Acting President of the University of Science and Technology – Aden, receive the university's award for achieving 25th place among Arab universities and first place among private universities in Yemen in this ranking. #University of Science and Technology
