The evaluation committee for the national ranking of Yemeni universities visits the University of Science and Technology – Aden

The University of Science and Technology - Main Center Aden received the evaluation committee for the national ranking of Yemeni universities, which was launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in its first session. During the meeting between the university administration and the evaluation committee, various aspects of the evaluation related to the ranking were discussed, as well as what the university had prepared in this regard. The University of Science and Technology had completed the final arrangements for the evaluation, making it a strong candidate to top this important local ranking. It is noted that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that the national ranking of universities represents an important mechanism for ranking higher education institutions according to specific standards and indicators, with the aim of promoting development and competitiveness, and raising the efficiency of academic and administrative performance. The ranking targets nine universities in three governorates: Aden, Hadramawt, and Taiz. The Deputy Minister of Higher Education for Educational Affairs, Dr. Khalid Omar Baslim, the Deputy Minister for Scientific Research, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Salam, and members of the ranking committee launched the first phase of the ranking at four universities in Aden, including the University of Science and Technology. It is worth mentioning that the University of Science and Technology - Aden has previously obtained advanced positions locally, regionally and globally in a number of Arab and international university rankings. #University of Science and Technology
