Biomedical engineering students conduct a field visit to the Aden Health medical exhibition.

On Sunday, February 9, 2025, students of the Biomedical Engineering program – Level 3 at the Faculty of Engineering and Computers at the University of Science and Technology – Main Center Aden, conducted a field visit to the “Aden Health” medical exhibition, held at the Al-Basateen International Center in Aden. The aim of this visit was to familiarize students with the job market by introducing them to a number of companies participating in the exhibition and trade centers specializing in medical devices. It also aimed to show them some of the medical devices available at the exhibition. This activity comes within the framework of the scientific department’s strategy to ensure that students are prepared for the labor market, to promote compatibility between scientific and practical aspects, and to bridge the gap between theory and practical reality; which contributes to raising the level of professional competence of students, and to maximizing the benefit from the engineering expertise participating in the exhibition. The department head confirmed that such field visits represent an important step in the students’ academic path, as they allow them the opportunity to have direct contact with commercial institutions specializing in the production and marketing of medical devices and equipment, which enhances their professional readiness and qualifies them to be distinguished cadres in the field of biomedical engineering. 42 students participated in the descent, accompanied by the head of the Biomedical Engineering Department, Dr. Nasr Al-Awdi. #University of Science and Technology
