966 people benefited from the World Diabetes Day event

The Student Affairs Department – ​​Health Unit at the University of Science and Technology – Main Center Aden, in cooperation with the Department of Human Medicine and the Department of Health Sciences at the university, held an activity for World Diabetes Day on Thursday, November 21, 2024. The event included providing free tests to measure sugar, blood pressure, vital signs in the body and nutritional tests, as the testing devices for this event were provided by Biolab Foundation for Medicines and Medical Supplies, within the framework of the fruitful cooperation between the university and the foundation. The event also included providing medical consultations and health awareness programs through a number of doctors specializing in internal medicine and nutritionists, who provided advice and health awareness about diabetes, blood pressure and the importance of proper nutrition. The number of beneficiaries of medical examinations and consultations reached 966 people, which indicates the great success of this health event. The event was attended by the Acting President of the University, Dr. Abdulghani Hamid, the Assistant President of the University for Student Affairs, Centers and Branches, Dr. Munir Al-Abadi, the Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Muammar Al-Qutaibi, the Deans of the Colleges, the Directors of Departments, a large number of students and university employees, in addition to a large gathering of citizens.
