University of Science and Technology – Aden welcomes the program evaluation committee for a number of its academic programs.

On Saturday morning, April 26, 2025, the University of Science and Technology – Main Center in Aden received a joint committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education, as part of the program evaluation to complete the necessary licensing procedures for a number of its academic programs, in accordance with the regulations and laws in place. The evaluation included the following programs: PhD in Information Technology, PhD in Business Administration, Master of Clinical Nutrition, Master of International Business Administration in English, Master of Translation, Master of Private Law, Bachelor of International Business Administration, Bachelor of Pharmacy. The committee included: Prof. Dr. Sawsan Bakhubaira, Head of the Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance Council for Higher Education; Prof. Dr. Abdul Raqeeb Al-Samawi, Member of the Academic Accreditation Council; Associate Prof. Dr. Lotfi Khanbari, Director General of Private Higher Education Institutions; Prof. Dr. Lotfi Qais, Director General of Public Higher Education Institutions; Mr. Mustafa Al-Shaabi, Director General of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Associate Prof. Dr. Mohammed Saleh Mohsen, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Aden University; Prof. Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al-Jaadani, Dean of the Faculty of Languages ​​at Aden University; Associate Prof. Dr. Khaled Zain Al-Saqqaf, Associate Professor at Aden University; Prof. Dr. Mohsen Al-Kazmi, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science at Aden University; Associate Prof. Dr. Abeer Jameel Thabet, Head of the Marketing Department at Aden University; Associate Prof. Dr. Samira Mahmoud Abdullah, Professor at Aden University. The committee was received by representatives from the university: Dr. Muammar Al-Qutaibi, Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Munir Al-Abadi, Assistant President of the University for Student Affairs, Community Centers and Branches, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rumaima, Dean of Development and Quality Assurance, Dr. Fatima Qahtan, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Nasr Al-Saqqaf, Dean of the College of Engineering and Computers, Dr. Bashir Muhammad Al-Hammadi, Dean of the College of Administrative and Human Sciences, Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Haidari, Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, in addition to the Director of the Marketing and Public Relations Department. An extensive meeting was held with the committee in the presence of the university president, deans of colleges, heads of scientific departments, and officials of the programs under evaluation, during which an introductory presentation was given about the university, its available capabilities, infrastructure, human resources, scientific journals, quality and accreditation, the technical infrastructure of electronic systems, and the extent of integration between them. The committee also conducted field visits to academic facilities associated with the programs, and reviewed the infrastructure and technical capabilities available to support the educational and research process. During the visit, the committee evaluated the targeted programs based on the documents and files submitted by the university, in accordance with the standards of the Council for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education. At the end of the visit, a closing meeting was held with the university president, deans of colleges and program representatives, during which the committee members expressed their appreciation for the efforts made and praised the outstanding level of the programs and the available capabilities in accordance with the approved regulations and standards. #University_of_Science_and_Technology
