Towards establishing strategic partnerships: University of Science and Technology – Aden signs a cooperation agreement with Al Salam University – Arab Republic of Egypt

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, the President of the University of Science and Technology – Aden, Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed, and the President of Al Salam University – Arab Republic of Egypt, Prof. Dr. Abdul Fattah Sedka, signed a scientific and academic cooperation agreement between the two universities. This agreement aims to develop outstanding cooperative relations between the two universities, serving their interests in various fields and positively impacting the quality of their academic and research outputs. The agreement included provisions for enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences between the two universities in several areas, most notably: qualification programs and exchange of scientific visits for faculty members between the two universities, student training and exchange programs, joint research projects, quality and academic accreditation, curricula, training and development, technology and innovation, medical education, e-learning and distance education, and others. On this occasion, Professor Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed expressed his pride in this partnership, stressing that the agreement represents a strategic step towards enhancing the university’s academic and research capabilities, which contributes to achieving its aspirations for excellence and innovation. He also pointed out that cooperation with the University of Peace, with its expertise and academic competencies, will open up broad horizons for the university to benefit from advanced programs and quality research opportunities. It is worth noting that this agreement comes within the framework of the University of Science and Technology - Aden’s strategy to open up to distinguished higher education institutions regionally and internationally, and confirms its constant keenness to build effective partnerships with these institutions, and to benefit from various experiences; in a way that contributes to achieving the university’s academic and developmental goals, and achieving regional leadership and global excellence. #University_of_Science_and_Technology
