Conclusion of the training course on measuring learning outcomes for academic programs and courses

On Sunday, May 4, 2025, the training course “Measuring Learning Outcomes for Academic Programs and Courses,” organized by the Deanship of Development and Quality Assurance at the University of Science and Technology – Main Center, Aden, concluded. The course took place on Saturday and Sunday, May 3-4, 2025, and was presented by trainers Dr. Mujeeb Musleh and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Rumaimah. This course aimed to introduce participants to the theoretical and practical aspects of how to measure learning outcomes for academic programs and courses, thereby contributing to improving the educational process and, consequently, enhancing learning outcomes. The following attended the session: Deans of colleges, heads of departments, quality specialists in departments, in addition to a number of academics. The two trainers in the course discussed the fundamentals of the process of evaluating learning outcomes for academic programs and courses, the academically approved methods of measurement and evaluation for this purpose, and how to analyze the results of measurement and evaluation to benefit from them in making developmental decisions for programs and courses. This course was held as part of the efforts of the University of Science and Technology - Aden to enhance the quality of education and achieve quality outputs capable of competing at all levels locally, regionally and internationally. #University_of_Science_and_Technology
